What is a double ended stud bolt?

Double end stud bolt, also called stud bolt, double end threaded rod double end threaded stud, partially threaded studs etc. Double end stud bolts are threaded fasteners that have a thread on both ends with an unthreaded portion in the middle of the fastener, and they usually worked with two heavy hex nuts, as well as washer depending on different applications.

What are the main types of studs?
